Just like that, the month of June is coming to an end in a few hours — and we’re already at the midpoint of the year!
This is a moment for deep reflection, not just on where you’ve been, but where you’re going.
Hear this clearly: not everything that followed you in June has permission to cross over into July. . . Be prophetic. Be prayerful. Be intentional. Decide today what must stop — and what must follow you into the new month in glory.
As a guide, reflect on:
- What unhealthy patterns, fears, or failures are trying to follow you?
- Are there generational cycles or silent voices whispering doubt into your next season?
- What do you want heaven to follow you with? mercy, favor, purpose, clarity?
Pay careful attention to the following scriptures that provide insight into what or who follows you:
- Luke 9:23 (Jesus speaking)
“Whoever wants to be my disciple must deny themselves and take up their cross daily and follow me.”
Message: July requires fresh surrender — not everything can follow you into purpose. - Exodus 14:19 (God protecting from behind)
“Then the angel of God, who had been traveling in front of Israel’s army, withdrew and went behind them…”
Message: God determines what follows — His presence protects your back as you cross over. - Psalm 23:6
“Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life…”
Message: Command what should follow you — goodness and mercy, not guilt and shame. - Mark 1:17
“Come, follow me,” Jesus said, “and I will send you out to fish for people.”
Message: Follow Jesus into a new assignment — your calling will shift in July. - 1 Corinthians 10:6
“Now these things occurred as examples to keep us from setting our hearts on evil things as they did.”
Message: Some old examples must be left behind. Don’t let their mistakes follow you. - Deuteronomy 28:2
“All these blessings will come on you and overtake you if you obey the Lord your God.”
Message: Invite blessings to follow and overtake you into July through obedience. - 1 Peter 2:21
“To this you were called, because Christ suffered for you, leaving you an example, that you should follow in his steps.”
Message: Don’t follow fear — follow the footsteps of Christ into a new month. - Isaiah 30:21
“Whether you turn to the right or to the left, your ears will hear a voice behind you, saying, ‘This is the way; walk in it.’”
Message: God is not only ahead — He follows you with guidance. July requires discernment. - John 10:27
“My sheep listen to my voice; I know them, and they follow me.”
Message: July is for listeners — let your ears follow His voice, not your emotions. - Romans 14:19
“Let us therefore make every effort to do what leads to peace and to mutual edification.”
Message: Choose what actions and relationships follow you — only let peace and growth cross over.
Prophetic Declaration:
- Today, I command everything that is not of God to stop at the border of June.
- I will not take anxiety, fear, or stagnation into July.
- I cross over prophetically into the new month with the goodness of God, with His mercy following me, and His voice leading me.
- July, make room for me – I come with purpose!”
