Hello Authentic Family!
Happy Monday!
As we step into this new week, I want to share a powerful word from Isaiah 29:6-7:
“You will be visited by the LORD of hosts with thunder and earthquake and great noise, with storm and tempest and the flame of devouring fire. And the multitude of all the nations who fight against Ariel, even all who fight against her and her fortress and distress her, shall be as a dream of a night vision.”
On the surface, these verses speak of dramatic upheaval and the overthrow of forces that oppose God’s purposes. But for us today, they carry a deeper truth: sometimes we must go through shaking, disruption or challenge—but the very things that threaten us can become the catalysts for God’s deliverance, clarity, and transformation.
Here are three take-aways you can carry into your week:
1. Recognize the shake. The “thunder… earthquake… great noise” remind us that God can work even in the storms. If you’re facing uncertainty or turbulence this week, know: you’re not outside His reach.
2. Expect the overturning of what opposes you. Just as the nations that fought were rendered like “a dream of a night vision” (vanishing, unreal), what’s been opposing you can fade in light of God’s intervention.
3. Stay anchored in identity, not only in outcome. The context reminds us that faith isn’t about external blessing only—it’s about knowing that God remains sovereign, even when the shaking feels uncomfortable. When everything seems unstable, your foundation can still be firm.
This week’s encouragement: If you feel like your world’s trembling, lean in—not away. Take a breath. Declare: “God, You are with me in the quake.” And then step forward, trusting that what seems like destruction may be the making of something new.
Have a blessed week of purpose and impact, connecting to the Authentic You.
