“A vision is not just a picture of what could be, it is an appeal to our better selves, a call to become more.” – Rosabeth Moss Kanter
2021 is a year both for more, and a year of more. . .
You must choose to be more positive minded, proactive, sensitive, sensible, hardworking, focused, excellent, loving, ambitious, wield more influence, multiply, improve your skills. In 2021 you must be more consecrated, visible, assertive, God-confident, hear more from God, hunger for more of God, health conscious. . . the list can be endless. It is a season for more. Period.
The question is: Do you want more? Are you hungry for more? Or are you self satisfied? If you want more, what are you willing to sacrifice in order to be more? What habits, relationships or cultures must you drop in order to be more? Think about this: If you keep doing the same thing, you’ll keep getting the same outcome. What must give way?
2020 taught us to not be too dependent or attached to anyone, nor a system, organization, government, institution, or even a nation. Last year everything was shaken- from social coexistence, to cultural, business, religious practices. Even our belief systems and attitudes were shaken. The only One who remained unchanged last year and remains the same today, yesterday and for all eternity is the Creator of the entire universe. Placing your confidence, hope and trust in Him guarantees your increase and multiplication in every area of life.
This year, change your mindset and everything else will follow suit. Develop an “I can” mindset. If you win in your mind, you win in every area of your life.
This year, see farther and clearer. Write down what you see. Strategize on how to make it a reality. Engage an accountability partner. Diligently pursue your vision. And, in no time you would have progressed, become more. .
“And the LORD brought Abram outside [his tent into the night] and said, “Look now toward the heavens and count the stars—if you are able to count them.” Then He said to him, “So [numerous] shall your descendants be.” Then Abram believed in (affirmed, trusted in, relied on, remained steadfast to) the LORD; and He counted (credited) it to him as righteousness (doing right in regard to God and man).”
