Buy back is a term used in different circles to describe a process of repurchasing either stocks, books, cars etc. A synonym of “buy back” is the word “redeem” which in a broader application means to regain possession of, or exchange for money, goods, etc. Redeem also refers to an act of correcting a past wrong, improving your reputation, making a better and wiser use of your time, or regaining lost opportunities. In my reckoning, no object nor any person is beyond redemption. Jesus died to redeem all lost souls. But that is not the focus here. . .
As we welcome a new month – February, we all are offered an opportunity to rebuild, regain, refresh, recoup, restore, refocus, restrategize and so on. You may realize that you have not been able to match up to your set standard for January, don’t dwell on your failure. Move on. Time waits for no one!

Live purposefully and worthily and accurately, not as the unwise and witless, but as wise (sensible, intelligent people), Making the very most of the time [buying up each opportunity], because the days are evil. Therefore do not be vague and thoughtless and foolish, but understanding and firmly grasping what the will of the Lord is.”
Time is a gift and a talent given to everyone by God. It is misspent and lost when not employed according to His design. Have you strived to discern the purpose of God for your life? If you’ve not, the likelihood is to misuse or mis-spend your time. Whilst it is unprofitable to dwell on the past, you must double your diligence for the future if you realize that you have lost or wasted your time.
What you choose to do today will determine your tomorrow. Waste time no further, seek out the purpose of God for your life and start investing your time wisely in its pursuit because evil days are indeed upon us.
