There’s a deep longing in the human heart for love. We all want to feel real love.
God wants you to feel His love for you. He wants you to accept His love in your heart.
You can receive His love afresh today. . .
How does God demonstrate His love for you? He does so through the cross.
“ But God showed his great love for us by sending Christ to die for us while we were still sinners. ”
Romans 5:8 NLT
This is how you know God’s love for you – The Father allowed His only Son to be taken from His embrace and sent to the cross. Even though as ungodly sinners we are undeserving of His love, God demonstrates He loves you by not sparing His Son.
Also, you experience the love of God through the Holy Spirit:
“ And this hope will not lead to disappointment. For we know how dearly God loves us, because he has given us the Holy Spirit to fill our hearts with his love. ”
Romans 5:5 NLT
It is the ministry of the Holy Spirit to help you feel God’s love. If you have never had this experience of the Holy Spirit filling your innermost heart, I encourage you to ask God to fill you now.
The essence of love is giving. The more the gift costs and the less the recipient deserves it, the greater the love involved. God’s indescribable gift to humanity is Jesus:
“ For this is how God loved the world: He gave his one and only Son, so that everyone who believes in him will not perish but have eternal life. ”
John 3:16 NLT
If God loves you, you can be sure that your future is secure.
As the month of July is getting ready to pave the way for the month of August, I encourage you to start reflecting on God’s love for you, today. Also meditate on how you’ve been responding to the love of God. And, if you’ve never experienced the inflling of the love of God in your heart through the ministry of the Holy Spirit, I encourage you to ask God to fill you now.

Heavenly Father, please pour your love into my heart and help me to feel your love deep in my heart.
